FAQ
A few things parents may want to know.
What ages is Learn Along for?
Learn Along supports families from infancy through primary school, with guidance and activities authored for specific developmental stages and school years.
Does it replace a teacher?
No. Learn Along is parent support. It helps families understand and act on learning information at home, while teachers remain the experts in classroom instruction and assessment.
Is School Readiness a test?
No. It is a parent reflection tool designed to identify strengths and a small number of useful areas to practise. Learn Along does not produce a readiness percentage or pass/fail result.
How does AI work?
AI features are designed to use relevant child context such as stage, goals and parent observations. The underlying activity and developmental guardrails remain age-and-stage specific.
Will every parent observation change recommendations?
No. Observations only influence recommendations when they are relevant, and parents can choose whether a note should be used for personalisation.
